About Pamela

Pamela is an artist, and teacher whose approach to the creative process has touched many lives. Blending over twenty years of professional art and pre-press teaching in secondary schools Tertiary and further Education (TAFE) and Maximum Security Correctional Facilities. Pamela has also taught classes on the Hero’s Journey incorporating Mythical Symbology for women who thought they could not create and has taught Digital Design to older women who were petrified to learn about technology.
Pamela believes that creative expression is waiting to unfold within every person who is willing to let go of previous perceptions about what art is. Pamela also explores the dynamics of how to create based on using the tension that arises during the process of creativity and incorporates the work of Robert Fritz on structural tension. Her intuitive work is commonly concerned with psychological and socio-cultural issues which she explores through surreal and symbolic execution.
