Pamela, an Australian artist based in Hepburn Springs, draws inspiration from the region's healing springs and her extensive background in art and education.
She began her artistic journey with a Diploma in Ceramics from RMIT, leading to a solo exhibition where the National Gallery of Victoria acquired one of her pieces.
After years of teaching art at the tertiary level, Pamela transitioned into geophysical cartography, a field that significantly influences her current linear drawings. She later retrained at La Trobe University and taught art in a women's maximum-security prison.
Now retired, Pamela focuses on intuitive acrylic paintings and pencil drawings, blending surrealism with symbolic communication. Using her art to explore and reveal the subconscious workings of the mind and the deep presence within which some refer to as the Muse.
